Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji, and the room was comfortable. However, I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness in the bathroom upon arrival, which overshadowed the overall experience. I expected more for the price paid, especially concerning the dining options and service.
I had an absolutely incredible stay at this ryokan by Lake Kawaguchi. The views of Mt. Fuji were stunning, and the private onsen experience was a highlight. The limited English spoken by some staff could be a concern for some, but overall, it was a unique and relaxing experience. The price was on the higher side, but totally worth it for the breathtaking views and amazing amenities.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the view of Mt. Fuji was truly spectacular from both my room and the dining area, my overall stay was marred by cleanliness issues that I encountered. Additionally, while I had some delightful dining moments, I wish the service had been more attentive to my concerns.
This hotel unfortunately did not meet my expectations, especially for the price I paid. The check-in process was okay, but the staff seemed unprofessional and disinterested. The view from my room was stunning, but that didn't make up for the overall disappointing experience with service and dining. I wouldn't recommend it and won't be returning.
My stay was a mix of absolute enjoyment and frustration. The views of Mt. Fuji were simply stunning, especially from the room with a private onsen, and the food was outstanding. However, some service issues and a few awkward moments at check-in took away from the overall experience. I would still recommend it for the views and relaxing atmosphere, but be prepared for potential communication hiccups.
